Sex Therapy in Colorado

for baby queers, LGBTQ+ individuals, and anyone having problems with sex

As a sex therapist based in Littleton, Colorado, I support people experiencing issues with sex, sexuality, and gender.

Chelsea Newton, MSW, LCSW, M.Ed.

SHE/HER/HERS

I’m Chelsea, the Founder and Therapist at Phases of the Mind Therapy. I created Phases of the Mind Therapy after a decade of supporting children, families, and communities as a Social Worker and Sexuality Educator in Philadelphia and Denver. As a queer Social Worker and Sex Therapist, I am passionate about supporting baby queer and LGBTQ+ people embrace and celebrate their unique sexual identities.  I am also passionate about providing meaningful, expert support for anyone struggling with sex or sexuality.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Human Sexuality Education from Widener University’s Center for Human Sexuality Studies and a Master’s of Social Work from Widener University, where I trained as a Social Worker and Sex Therapist.

For the past nine years, I have worked in public service as a Social Worker in Denver, Colorado, serving children and families of all backgrounds and experiences.* This has taught me the deep importance of meeting people where they are at.  As a sex therapist, I believe that the connection between us is essential for meeting your therapeutic goals. The relationships that I build with my clients allows for a trusting, non judgmental, and supportive space to explore deeply personal and intimate struggles. A lot of times, this quality of relationship is difficult to explain, but let’s just say, it’s a vibe. What you feel in session with me matters, and I absolutely love engaging in that kind of meaningful feeling together.

**Due to conflict of interest, Chelsea does not offer private therapy services to current students of Denver Public Schools.
